McCarthy endorses Minnesota Rep. Tom Emmer for speaker
Former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy Friday endorsed Republican Majority Whip Tom Emmer to succeed him after GOP lawmakers voted to remove Rep. Jim Jordan as their designated candidate for speaker.
